For those of you who said no to dessert during the holidays, have been loyal to their New Year’s resolution, and have kept up on their exercise regimen without fail these past six months, then youâre well on your way to showing off your summer bod once the weather finally breaks. For the rest of us, it’s time to cram in some intense workout sessions and reevaluate our diets as we prepare for beach vacations, pool days, and laying out soaking up the summer sun. The best home workouts for a beach body means leaning out, adding a little bit of muscle, but mostly burning fat fast. Below are the 5 best workouts you should start RIGHT NOW if you want to feel great when you take your shirt off this summer.
Best Home Workout For Beach Body: Insanity Max 30
This is a great program because it only last eight weeks, but it challenges you to get the most out of every workout, every time. Your trainer is Shaun T, who is one of my favorite motivators and will get the most out of you if you are open to a “in-your-face,” boot camp style workout. Insanity Max 30 demands that you give 100% from beginning to end. See our review for P90X3 vs Insanity Max 30 for more details.
Do this workout if: You have a solid fitness foundation and want to carve out existing muscle.
Best Home Workout For Beach Body #2: Core de Force
If timing is an issue for you, and you need to get ripped fast, you should consider Core de Force. This is a 30 day program, but involves intense movements that are inspired by kickboxing and MMA. There are a total of 10 workouts youâll do in this program, and each workout is broken down into six to 12 rounds where you go all out for each round, and have a slight break in between. Be warned, that you are expected to workout every day for those 30 days, so if youâre no mentally tough, you might not make it to the end.
Do this workout if: You want to most results in the shortest amount of time.
Best Home Workout For Beach Body #3: Focus T25
Another Shaun T product, T25 is great for people of all athletic backgrounds and abilities. The biggest difference between Focus T25 vs Insanity Max 30 is that you won’t workout as frequently with T25, and the intensity is ratcheted down a notch or two. This doesn’t mean you won’t get a great workout and drop pounds quick, however. The movements will still burn fat fast, but they’re tailored for anyone to do, not just the athletes among us.
Do this workout if: You want a program you can stick to and still get beach ready.
Best Home Workout For Beach Body #4: Tone It Up
The Tone It Up Team puts out lots of great products geared toward women and getting “bikini ready,” but I can contest that after doing a few workouts with my wife, there are things that will get guys sweating as well. My wife did both Tone It Up and Kayla Itsines and determined that Tone It Up was the clear winner. The “Beach Babe 5” workouts are great workouts that are just 30 minutes long, and require three months worth of work. When my wife got into this, she and I both noticed some quick results that she was proud to show off during the summer.
Do this workout if: You want to look your best in a bikini
Best Home Workout For Beach Body #5: P90X3
Just because it comes in at #5 on this list doesnât diminish how great of a workout P90X3 truly is. The only reason we didn’t include it higher is because of the three month commitment that goes into finishing this program. Whether you have a full three months, or you need to see results sooner, youâre sure to get a great workout and see your body change well in advance of the 90th day.
Do this workout if: You have a little more time before that beach vacation.
